In sync with its long-term plan to expand business segments and product suite, Alerus Financial (ALRS) has signed an agreement to acquire HMN Financial, Inc. in an all-stock deal valued at $116.4 million. The transaction marks the 26th acquisition for the company since 2000 and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024.
