ArcelorMittal (MT) rejected the Italian government’s proposal to acquire a controlling stake in Acciaierie d'Italia (“ADI”), a major steel plant in Europe formerly known as Ilva, according to a statement from the cabinet, as reported by Reuters yesterday.
