American Airlines’ (AAL) third-quarter 2024 earnings (excluding 53 cents from non-recurring items) of 30 cents per share beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 13 cents. In the year-ago quarter, AAL reported earnings of 38 cents per share. The year-over-year bottom-line contraction was mainly due to high labor costs.
