Rio Tinto (RIO) has completed its previously announced acquisition of the 11.65% interest in Boyne Smelters Ltd ("BSL") from Mitsubishi Corporation (MSBHF) . BSL is located at Boyne Island in Central Queensland and is Australia's second-largest aluminum smelter.
