Set to report its Q2 results on Wednesday, August 21, Target (TGT)  will be hoping to follow Walmart’s (WMT)  footsteps with its omnichannel retail peer exceeding quarterly top and bottom line expectations last Thursday.Notably, Walmart’s stock is up +7% since its strong Q2 results and has now soared +40% year to date to largely outperform Target’s +2%.
