WASHINGTON, D.C., June 18, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) today announced 33.5millioninconservationgrantsfromtheLongleafLandscapeStewardshipFund(LLSF)torestore,enhanceandprotectlongleafpineforestsineightsouthernstates.Thisyearsgrantslateisthelargestintheprogramshistory,buildingonarecenttrendofincreasedfundingforlongleafpinerestoration.Thesegrantswillleverage33.5 million in conservation grants from the Longleaf Landscape Stewardship Fund (LLSF) to restore, enhance and protect longleaf pine forests in eight southern states.
